Krone Kids - Kids Circus Lilalu - Winter Gala 2005

On the second weekend in December, the long wait had its end because on Sunday, the 11 of December, 2005, between 11.00 and 16.00 the much anticipated Galas took place in the legendary manege of Circus Krone. The young artists showed, what they learned in the summer during the several day Circus Workshops within "Festivals in the Park Lilalu - Umsonst & Draussen" in front of large audience - in the manege of the legendary Circus Krone. In two Gala presentations the 850 small artists performed multicolored a program of acrobats and juggling, clown ticks, stunts, horses dressage, high wire, tight rope, trapeze vertical cloth, and much more.

The youth circus attracted over 6000 enthusiastic spectators. No wonder, as the 850
Lilalu children between six and thirteen had perfected their acts through numerous
training sessions in the summer and in performances of several duration before the
actual Gala in winter.

Here the smallest ones were the greatest!
"On with the show" for the Lilalu stars of tomorrow as courageous fakirs performed
on pointed nail boards, graceful ballerinas sprang through the air, merry clowns
amused, bold horsewomen and elegant tight rope walkers expertly performed. Let's
not forget the skillful jugglers, who performed disguised as reindeers, the mini ponies,
the goat revue, the high-professional stunt show and much more.

The main program greeted by among others LIMA, as well as JOY GRUTTMANN,
who sang Schni-Schna-Schnappi-Christmas song, "Jing Jingeling der Weihnachts-
schnappi".

Expected and present mentors, as well as "VIPs" to the Winter Gala included:
Veronica Ferres, Sunnyi Melles, Claudia Jung, Michael Mendl and Carolin Fink,
Dagmar Siegel, Doreen Dietl, Heio von Stetten, Florian Krumrey, singer Jess
(ex No-Angels), singer Lima, Dagmar Nixdorf, Carlo Thränhardt, Family
Schottenhammel, Family Wellenbrink with daughter Mia (known through
Fruchtalarm- commercial ) and Dr.Johannes Teyssen (chairman of E.ON
Energie - as main sponsor). In addition, BA-chairwoman, Ingeborg Staudenmeyer.

The young artists had already given a preview of their talents at a press conference
in the Circus Krone. Everyone was in a festive mood. Prominent mentors were on
hand to extend a warm welcome: Cleo Kretschmer and Michael Schwarzmeier.

To all Lilalu-Fans, they promised a spectacular show with colorful costumes,
music and everything, which is part of of an outstanding, professional circus.

and is Germany's largest children's festival.
