Impressions from the Spectacular Circus-Gala 2003
On Sunday, the 14 December, 2003 at 11.00 and 16.00 the children's circus
Lilalu invited the public to spectacular circus presentations in Circus Krone
 |
The third Advent's candle was
flickering - as was the atmosphere
in the legendary Krone Bau, as over
650 children and youth presented
their circus artistry.
Training and rehearsals had been
conducted during the summer within
the Festivals in the park "Lilalu -
Umsonst und Draussen" in Circus
Workshops of several days duration.

The children, now inspired and
thoroughly trained in various circus
disciplines, entertained the 6.000
visitors in the largest and most
beautiful circus building in Europe
and hand on the heart - who has
not even once dreamed about
performing as a clown, rope
dancer, tiger trainer, rider, acrobat
or break dancer under the bright
lights of the manege. 650 children
could fulfill those dreams with
Circus Krone.

The young artists received thunderous applause from the onlookers, which included
numerous prominent figures at manege's edge: Max Tidof and Lisa Seitz (nervously
watching their daughter Luzie on the vertical rope), Michael Mendl and Carolin Fink
(vocally supported daughter Joana, actor Horst Janson, cabaret star Dieter Hildebrand,
singer Lima, Barbara Rudnik, Joseph Vilsmeier, Gabriele Neff, Diane Brill and
comedy-boss Margit Boenisch.
The first highlight of the premiere: the performance by Overground with their hit
"Schick mir 'nen Engel", followed by the highly professional circus show
with charm and poetry, tension and humor.
