The first Tete à Tete in Rosenheim
Hello my dear
friends. With great
pleasure I warmly
welcome you - to
another installment
of diary of the lion
beauty DIAMOND.

The short journey from Traunstein
to Rosenheim passed very quickly
as traveling for us has become
almost routine.
Again, we had new neighbors
from the exotic stalls.
Wooly lamas who for some
reason, continuously eyed
us with suspicion.
|
But, have is
no fear -
Argentine
steak, juicy
beef with
bones or
fresh chicken
are what
we prefer.
|
|

|
|
True hosts endeavor to make their guests feel as comfortably
as possible. A cozy accommodation is included in meeting
that requirement as is a good meal. Accordingly, our vegetarian
friends in the Rosenheim must have felt very looked after.
On the first day of of our visit, while assembling the tent and
other facilities, the colleagues of the city works department
supplied our animal friends with three small delivery truck
loads of freshly cut green foliage.

Even branches
of acacia were
included, which
were eagerly
devoured by the
the pachyderms.
Large animals
have large
appetites!
|
And also the apes felt at
home in their new exterior
enclosures and enjoyed
the warm rays of the sun
A net- encase enclosure
was constructed, impervious
to attacks by the apes.
In addition toy, swings and
hardwood - was constructed
for a true paradise for our
prized primates.

Also we received a large
portion of foliage, with
which we played hide
and go seek. We also
romped and relaxed in
the shade. KING TONGA
carefully observed us and
I must admit completely
exactly and I admit that
Princess was trying to
draw attention.

Taking gentle steps
we began a lovely
summer escapade
which is worth every
cent of the admission
and all of this closely
observed by
Martin Lacey jun.
After all, we are still
in lion kindergarten.

Well trained riders on wild horses.
Dshigiten rider. One can become
transfixed on this troupe as they
make their daily appearances, as
they proudly make their entrance
astride their mighty steeds. They
embody the best of colorful dream
world of the circus with the three
classical columns of the Manège:
>animals, artists and clowns

|
On powerful claws, pardon hooves, was in former times also Genghis
Khan and its horde on their way to further conquests. The modern
variant - a Pop group name of the same name - visited us toward end
of the appearance and a photo shoot for the newspaper "Bild am
Sonntag" was conducted. Certainly a sight to witness:
Dschinghis Khan leading camels from Kasikstans, Dschinghis Khan
with terrifying Mongolian warriors Gana or ladies form his harem and
the kong of the Huns Attila leading the female hippo Poppäa.
Rosenheim circus fiends were rewarded with three hours of
circus artistry of the highest level. Spectacular performances
were accompanied by rhythmic applause. It was a symbiosis
of smells, music and marvelous costumes.
Probably no other event in the year 2007 delighted the citizenry
of Rosenheim as much as the guest performance of the large
Circus Krone - with its splendor of the animal performances.
High expectations were met and witnessed by a large number
of attendees. The circus is the only place of the world, where
one can dream with eyes wide open.

P.S.: Dreams become reality
on the back of horses for the
married couple Sylvia Schickler
and Nikolai Tovarich.
A marriage within the circus
instead of a marriage to the
circus - for over 30 years!
Here, while having breakfast
at the zoo entrance with
their beloved dogs Bonnie
and Laddie.
Nikolai as ring master is
additionally responsible for
the marvelous "Men in Black",
our industrious property
management team.
