Krone Zoo in WinterKRONE ZOO IN WINTER CIRCUSThe third circus building was opened in 1962. The circus palace with 3,000 seats, includes stalls for all animals (inclusive floor heating, single boxes for horses with solarium and wash site, stationary boxes for elephants, various training rings and open enclosures in the inner court. Depending upon the position of the sun the camels receive visits from the zebras, the llamas frolic with the ponies and donkeys. Two warm stalls await the visitors: The ape house with a pigtail macaque, female hippo Poppäa, aras, porcupines and many more. Next to it the always at least 20 degrees warm elephant house with sand wells for the heraldic animals of the house. Over 60 horses await visitors and deployment in our two- floor horse stable. For our guest animals, we have an extra quarantine stable.
